The wine ready reckoner: Bottling and transporting wine in a changing climate

The Wine Ready Reckoner examines the direct carbon footprint of the transport and packaging of wine imported into the UK. The online tool excludes the carbon footprint associated with total viniculture and alcohol production of wine from country of origin as well as UK consumption. It is intended as an initial indication of the potential cost and environmental savings that could be achieved through either lightweighting or bulk importation.
